What area of your life could use healing right now?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 19, 2008:
I can use healing in my heart and mind to value myself and my feeling in the highest respect. I have seen in the past year that I have treated myself very poorly and asked for others to walk all over me (because at least then I will be of use, to cushion their feet as they step, and to have their company). I have abused my integrity in relationships with men and in handing myself and my body over to them. I see that I was never taught as a girl how to create boundaries, how to know myself, and how to take care of myself.
I have been in one relationship or another for the past eight years, and just now, as I am growing to know God more inside of me, am I single and given the opportunity to trust in God, focus all of my attention on my self and my own growth, and see where I have been off all of these years, so that I may forgive the men and forgive my mom, and forgive myself.
I pray for healing that I may keep my mind focused on this growth away from the concept that I am nothing without a man. I pray that my eye be single upon overcoming this obstacle and becoming more peaceful, more powerful, and filled with light. I pray that my relationship with God grows in this time so that I may know our Father/Mother more deeply inside and rely more on that connection than anything else. May God be my guide, and may all of my concepts and plans fall away. I no longer need to orchestrate my life because I have God now and He/She knows me better than I have come to know my true self.
